Chaos to Kindness: Yosef Phelen

My design celebrates the moments of imperfection and unpredictability that come with the process of creating art of any kind. Chaos to me is about embracing the unexpected, and celebrating those moments. One of my biggest goals when making work is to try and surprise myself with the result, and I think the only way that's possible is to embrace the unpredictable nature of the process. My design is a visual representation of those moments and split second decisions that happen when we create, as my best work happens when I'm not over analysing - allowing myself to make art without expectation or scrutiny. - Yosef Phelen 

Chaos to Kindness is a social impact initiative dedicated to creating opportunities for marginalised, working-class, and underrepresented creatives. We've partnered with talent from our network to develop a series of merchandise celebrating the launch of order+chaos. All proceeds will support our inaugural impact initiative.
